As a senior digital desk producer at KSDK News, I am part of the digital leadership team. I help oversee the morning digital team by assigning news stories, copy editing and managing our website. I help with special projects and record keeping for the team. I help lead the team’s SEO and video strategies. I also mentor others on the team in digital best practices as well as others in the newsroom.

I worked as a digital desk producer at KSDK News for 5 years before being promoted to senior producer. I wrote breaking, feature and SEO stories for the website, edited YouTube videos and managed social media. I performed copy editing duties, managed our YouTube channel and led our YouTube and SEO strategies. I covered major events such as school shootings, elections, the COVID pandemic and protests.

I worked as a digital producer for KMOV News 4 in St. Louis. I wrote hard news and feature stories for the website. I helped manage the website and social media platforms. I also performed copy editing and teleprompting duties.
