Content Manager

May 2023-Present

As the Content Manager for The Magic House, I manage all of our social media platforms and lead our social strategy. I take photos and videos for our social platforms and our website. I also create and edit original content and trending content for Instagram and TikTok. I handle our daily website management. I write and edit press releases. I also cultivate relationships with local influencers and content creators to market our brand on a wide scale.

Sr. Digital Desk Producer

Nov. 2022-April 2023

As a senior digital desk producer at KSDK News, I am part of the digital leadership team. I help oversee the morning digital team by assigning news stories, copy editing and managing our website. I help with special projects and record keeping for the team. I help lead the team’s SEO and video strategies. I also mentor others on the team in digital best practices as well as others in the newsroom.

I worked as a digital desk producer at KSDK News for 5 years before being promoted to senior producer. I wrote breaking, feature and SEO stories for the website, edited YouTube videos and managed social media. I performed copy editing duties, managed our YouTube channel and led our YouTube and SEO strategies. I covered major events such as school shootings, elections, the COVID pandemic and protests.
